The Central Intermediate Unit is committed to act as a liaison and resource to all constituent school districts, charter schools and CTCs for the purpose of assisting our customers in building a culture of data quality. We will facilitate a series of monthly Data Quality Network (DQN) meetings to provide guidance and resource materials that will assist LEAs in building their own Data Team to ensure accurate and timely data submissions to the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) via the Pennsylvania Information Management System (PIMS). Each meeting will include relevant information from PDE regarding upcoming data collections. Attendees will also have an opportunity to network and problem solve with other LEAs. Our goal is to build a collaborative network of individuals who are committed to continuous improvement in the submission of data that impacts our students and teachers.
